October Program: “Birding the Heart of the Amazon”

Description: The presentation will cover some of the typical birds and wildlife as well as some flora that can be seen along the Amazon River and its tributaries in western Brazil. This "heart of the Amazon" has a diverse avian population as well as dense jungle, native tribes, and a large urban center--Manaus.
