Bluebird Trail’s 2025 Breeding Season Begins

Monitoring of the bluebird boxes at the WCAS Lewis Road Riding Ring Bluebird Trail has begun. The 9 nest boxes were inspected and found to be clean and ready for the 2025 breeding season. On April 1, monitors were pleasantly surprised to find a bluebird nest with one egg in Box 9! This is the earliest we have had an egg in the 5 year history of this trail. A sparrow spooker has been installed.
