Western Cuyahoga Audubon Society Virtual Field Trips Archive 2020-2021

Michelle Brosius, Director-at-Large and Field Trip Co-Coordinator, WCAS, invites birders to participate in a monthly designated field trip location, share stories to a public digital scrapbook, and participate in optional online community meet ups. Field Trips identify target birds and explore natural areas, such as Important Bird Areas (IBAs), parks, and preserves. During visits, attendees are encouraged to take photographs, draw a picture or create art inspired by what is seen, tally identified species, write down thoughts, create a poem, a Haiku, questions or curiosities about the target species or anything encountered at the location, i.e., bird, plant, butterfly, etc., or anything to do with the experience of visiting the public space. Contributions are published to the WCAudubon.org website and shared on social media. Community Meet-Ups are the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at the WCAS Virtual Conference Center.  ​For announcements go to the News Blog and to submit content, Email MichelleBrosius@wcaudubon.org
