American Redstart, Light Roast
Order your coffee before the 10th of the first month of each quarter. Orders will be placed in January, April, July, and October. The coffee coordinator will deliver your coffee within the Greater Cleveland area.
American Redstart, Light Roast is full-bodied with a mellow acidity. This Bird Friendly® blend is smooth with heavy notes of cocoa, walnuts and reminiscent of red apples.
This shade-grown coffee is of single origin from the farmers Asociación Civil Guaya'b in the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala. These farms are dedicated to preserving critical habitats for migratory and indigenous birds.
Deforestation affects migratory birds because it removes entire regions of habitats and ecosystems. By supporting the Smithsonian Bird Friendly® program we are protecting habitat from the threat of deforestation. Bird Friendly® Coffee is planted under a canopy of trees and provides forest-like habitat for birds.
Choose between Whole bean and Coarse, Fine, or Medium Grind. There is no additional charge for grinding. Five pound bags are only available in whole bean or medium grind.
