Fundraising for important communication projects, like Lights Out Cleveland, has gotten specific companies downtown to agree to turn out their lights during migration so that birds will not be hurt so much.
We were able to raise a lot of money to support the conservation work, but as importantly, if not more so, we got the word out, we got people talking about it, we got people asking about it and for any conservation program that is key. - Stan Searles
