“Scenic Slide”, from the 2017 'WATERSPIRITS' campaign, is a hand-painted, fired glass, iconic Lake Erie landscape, based on a natural vista at Cleveland Metroparks, Rocky River Reservation, Rocky River, OH. Note about production: Creating multiple stained glass works is a production process that involves sequentially applying replicable patterns. The “Scenic Slide” landscape is inspired by our Lake Erie panoramic photographs, and created in a process of firing hand-painted glass produced in an assembly line fashion. Producing a number of works at one time keeps the time, labor and price affordable.
Bruce Buchanan, is a Stained Glass Artist from Cleveland, Ohio. He continues to take on residential work and is working his way through the century homes of the Near West Side one window at a time. |
