Western Cuyahoga Audubon thanks Dave Lewis for contributing the online photographic exhibit (above), and for the extensive library of bird and habitat landscape photographs he has contributed over the years. Dave's photos document bird walks and field trip sightings, adding to Western Cuyahoga Audubon's longtime efforts to inform and educate chapter members and the public about birds and environmental conservation. A native Clevelander, Dave Lewis has been an avid nature photographer for over thirty years. Bird photography has become the focus of his free time. All the photos shown here have been taken with Canon 20D, 50D or 7D MKII digital cameras; Canon 100mm macro or a Canon 300mm 2.8 lens; Canon 500mm f4 lens. Dave has had work published in Bird Watcher's Digest magazine, the Ohio Division of Natural Resources (ODNR) Ohio Field Guides on Warblers and Butterflies, the Ohio Breeding Bird Atlas II, books and many websites. Many of his prints have been sold to raise funds for the conservation of endangered habitat and conservation education. Dave also authors the popular blog, “Birds from Behind”.
