The Conservatory Workshop Venue: "About 4,460 square feet of The Conservatory is under glass. Within the building, 4,200 square feet is used for botanical displays and meeting space. The remaining 2,800 square feet is used for instruction, research, and service purposes. A plaza, gardens and outdoor art by a local artist enhances the entrance to The Conservatory."
The Council of Ohio Audubon Chapters (COAC) Workshop March 2018 began with seven COAC members attending a bird walk before the meeting. John Lillich opened the session with a brief presentation on the Hach-Otis Sanctuary conservation project in Willoughby Hills, which ASGC acquired and has preserved through the Western Reserve Land Conservancy.

Council of Ohio Audubon Chapters (COAC) Chapter Representatives gathered from across the State of Ohio for an early spring bird walk proceeding the quarterly workshop at the beautiful Novak Audubon Sanctuary hosted by the Audubon Society of Greater Cleveland. Our bird walk featured Ring-necked Ducks, Eastern Bluebirds, Ring-billed Gulls, and nesting Bald Eagles.
The March 2018 Workshop is hosted by the Audubon Society of Greater Cleveland at the Novak Education Center situated on the Blanche Katherine Novak Wildlife Sanctuary and State Nature Preserve, 382 Townline Road in Aurora, Ohio 44202.
The mission of the Council of Ohio Audubon Chapters (COAC) is to promote chapter development by sharing best practices, brainstorming solutions to common problems, and developing relationships in workshops and retreats.
