Just what everyone has been waiting for, not just to get out of the house, but to get out and find those spring Warblers. Birds are in their flashy, breeding plumage and they tend to concentrate in areas so this should be a fun and exciting Challenge.

Let's Go Birding the Day After Thanksgiving! Enter the Fledgling Birding Challenge Friday, November 27, 2020
There is a lot of talk about creating new traditions this holiday weekend. Western Cuyahoga Audubon Society has a great idea on how to start a new and different tradition on November 27th, the day after that big Thanksgiving meal. It is the 'Fledgling Birding Challenge".
The Dead Tree Challenge is a fun, challenging bird identification event hosted by WCAS! The challenge is also a fundraising campaign to help get the word out about the importance of birds in our neighborhoods, cities, and urban areas. Ticket donations fundraise to aid the continuation of chapter conservation services to Cleveland area counties.

Forget spring (for now) and look forward to fall and the warblers that pass through at this time of year. “Ugh, those confusing fall warblers” … nope, not really. Many warblers, especially the males, have similar patterns to their spring plumage.
