Description: Our first group discovered a pair of adult Red-headed Woodpeckers at what appeared to be a tree recently used for nesting. In addition, we found a juvenile Scarlet Tanager feeding in short trees along a stream bed.
Our second group also enjoyed seeing the Red-headed Woodpeckers and were treated later with very close looks at an adult Eastern Wood-Peewee feeding two recent fledglings!
