The annual Great Backyard Bird Count runs from Friday, February 16, 2018 through Monday, February 19, 2018. WCAS will celebrate at LENSC on Sunday with a walk from Lake Erie Nature and Science Center to Lake Erie and back.

Target Species: Barred Owl, winter residents, waterfowl
Description: The annual Great Backyard Bird Count runs from Friday, February 16, 2018 through Monday, February 19, 2018. WCAS will celebrate at LENSC on Sunday with a walk from Lake Erie Nature and Science Center to Lake Erie and back. If there is open water on the lake, we may expect to see a variety of waterfowl. The woods and fields around LENSC are home to winter resident raptors and songbirds.
