With your input, we're creating programs to connect and educate the public about birds and wildlife conservation.
Previously, we wrote to you requesting your help to form an advisory network to create and build a rich and robust calendar of online and virtual events.
With your input, we're developing Western Cuyahoga Audubon Society programs that connect and educate the public about birds and wildlife and the vital need to conserve, preserve, and restore those habitats.
We are doing that in two ways: by addressing what impacts birds, and by acting locally looking through the lens of Urban Birding Cleveland.
Two things have happened since that first email.
We renamed our advisory network, "Guardians of Nature". When we initiated Urban Birding Cleveland, our guest from the United Kingdom, David Lindo, aka, 'The Urban Birder', suggested this as a name for our advocates, fans, and volunteers. People willing to take action for birds and wildlife. We believe you may be in that number.
The second thing we did is compose a list of 12 volunteer opportunities for the programming we are developing and implementing including the roles and tasks where volunteers are needed. The beauty of being a volunteer is that you decide the investment made of your time and talent. You give what you can when you can. Click on the button below to view the list:
Connect and be a part of a growing network of people dedicated to birds, wildlife, and habitat conservation. You don't need to be a member of Audubon. The meeting is free and open to the public. Everyone is welcome!
