Location: Trails around Rocky River Nature Center, Rocky River Reservation, Cleveland Metroparks, 24000 Valley Pkwy, North Olmsted, OH 44070 Map

Results: 43 Birders and 37 Species
Description: The Second Saturday of the month bird walk started with a large group of observers. We had more observers, 43, than bird species. We finished with 37 species. It was a sunny morning with the temperature in the low 70's. It was a typical August walk with many of the expected birds. The highlight of the morning were the Ruby-throated Hummingbirds. We counted 10 birds. Some of the Hummers were seen in pairs, often chasing after one another. We also saw several Hummers feeding at flowering Jewelweeds. - Report by Bill Deininger.
