Birds were singing with temperatures in the mid-forties. Fog rose off the icy ponds, giving way to patches of blue sky and sun by noon-time. Highlights were four Eastern Bluebirds, thirty American Tree Sparrows and a flyover by six Common Loons. Woodpeckers were noisy and plentiful. Black-capped Chickadees followed the group, hoping to eat sunflower seeds from outstretched hands.
