Six warbler species, including eight American Redstarts, six Magnolia warblers and five Black-and-White warblers were viewed by the group in several locations. We had some good birds including a Barred Owl, a Scarlet Tanager, and a pair of Solitary Sandpipers.

Location: Trails around Rocky River Nature Center, Rocky River Reservation, Cleveland Metroparks, 24000 Valley Pkwy, North Olmsted, OH 44070 Map

Results: 15 Birders, 44 Species
Description: We had 15 observers on Saturday morning. It was cloudy, 61 degrees, and only a few sprinkles of rain for a brief amount of time. Six warbler species, including eight American Redstarts, six Magnolia warblers and five Black-and-White warblers were viewed by the group in several locations. We had some good birds including a Barred Owl, a Scarlet Tanager, and a pair of Solitary Sandpipers. Our best highlight was a very cooperative Olive-sided Flycatcher, viewed by all. - Report by Bill Deininger.
