Learn More About How You Can Help ACCA
Wildlife rehabilitation specialists are some of today's unsung heroes and heroines. Working under tremendous pressure they continue to aid and assist injured wildlife despite the crippling effects of climate change now compounded by the social and economic complications of COVID-19.
Centers everywhere are experiencing a significant decline in donation dollars due to pandemic economic stress and ranks of volunteers may have diminished or are unable to assist because of virus contagion and social distancing requirements.
Efforts are further complicated by populations of wildlife needing assistance due to the affects of extreme hot or cold weather fluctuations, forest fires, severe drought, flooding, or worse due to human encroachment and the unpredictable severe affects of climate change.
Now is the time to make a donation to The Avian Conservation Center of Appalachia, Inc. (ACCA), or any wildlife rehabilitation center near you!
