Join us to see birds, wildlife, and explore mature urban forest and residential plantings in historic Tremont, Ohio.
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
Dear WCAS members, friends and the public:
WCAS birding events generally attract 30 or more people. With these numbers, the physical distancing just does not work. Many of us are older, and at high-risk with COVID19. Also, people who are asymptomatic can pass the infection along to others. I do not think it prudent to schedule anything at this time. WCAS will follow the lead of local and state health officials in this regard. Please note that Cleveland Metroparks has cancelled group events, even those outdoors. Birders might go out on their own, indeed I have done so, but at most with 1 or 2 other companions, and we can maintain the recommended distancing. The stakes are high for the health of all in our country, as well as for us as individuals. Please check our website and social media for updates. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
