Fall is an excellent time to plant and prepare for spring growth. Don't be fooled by the dormant appearance. Remember, a yard full of exotic plants does not meet the dietary and forage needs that native bird friendly plants can for our Northeast Ohio birds, bees, and wildlife to survive. Description: The WCAS Bird Friendly Native Plant team has thoughtfully sourced local native plants for the Fall sale. Purchase Bird Friendly Native Plants for your yard and garden now. Don't be fooled by a somewhat dormant appearance of native plants in the fall months! Fall is the best time to plant so that root systems have plenty of time to get established before they're called upon in the spring to produce leaves, flowers, and fruit. Plant and coffee proceeds support local chapter conservation activities.
Plant List - All plants $12.00 with the exception of 12-13 Paw Paw plants at $15.00 each and 3 Spice Bushes at $20.00 each.
Final plant list updated 09222019.
Stop by our display to purchase fall plants, learn about chapter conservation activities, and how you can join the WCAS Bird Friendly Coffee Club. A limited number of bags of Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center certified bird friendly coffee will be available for sale to take home at our booth. Coffee can be purchased for monthly delivery at the WCAS Store.
