FALL WARBLER CHALLENGE SERIES 2020
Event: Fall Warbler Mid-Challenge Check In
Day & Time: Friday, October 2, 2020, 7:00 to 8:00 PM.
Host: Nancy Howell, Challenge Compiler
Description: How’s your Fall Warbler Challenge coming along? Great? Just starting? It does not matter since there is still time to go out birding and list the fall warblers you have found.
Check out new video programs recorded by favorite Ohio birders on fall warbler identification, fall warbler hotspots, social cues and markers, and go on a LIVE morning bird walk with Ryan Jacob, Staff Ornithologist, Black Swamp Bird Observatory (BSBO) to Maumee Bay State Park! You'll learn which migrants are expected at certain times and the nature of migration.
Friday's program will have information about what’s being seen and where, as well as reviewing the Fall Warbler Challenge rules and how to use the fall warbler checklist.
Register for the Fall Warbler Challenge!
The PRIZE for seeing and listing as many fall warblers as possible is a WCAS 1 Year Membership!
